On June 3, 2020, Marvin Mendez and Martin Sliwinski of Dussias Wittenberg Koenigsberger LLP co-presented on the Continuing Legal Education Program titled, “How to Navigate through Zoom Hearings and Zoom Trials.”
The course covered an advance technological usage of Zoom, which has been the overwhelming selection of medium by the Courts amongst the COVID-19 closures. Specifically, the course covered how to maximize the technological features of Zoom to gain a legal advantage when using exhibits, managing witnesses, and summary evidence under IL Rule of Evidence 1006.
The course also covered attorney ethical obligations as it pertains to client data protection, security standards, and preventing data breaches when using Zoom.
