Jennifer Parks advocates for the families she serves with one goal in mind: ensuring that they emerge from their experience with a fresh start on life’s next chapter. When a client faces difficult times, Jennifer focuses on seeking a peaceful resolution that encompasses the best interests of the parties involved, especially the children.
Jennifer understands the many complex layers involved in the divorce process, and its effects. Throughout years of personal exposure to divorce, Jennifer discovered her own professional passion: using the law to aid those in life-altering circumstances.
Jennifer handles various issues related to family law, including, but not limited to, child support and maintenance, custody/allocation of parental responsibilities, distribution and dissipation of marital assets, and paternity suits. She also focuses on the financial aspects of divorce, including analysis of complex financial matters in their various forms.
Prior to pursuing her career in family law, Jennifer worked for a governmental consulting firm in her home state of Michigan. After 2 years in the Michigan political scene, she moved to Chicago for law school. While obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law, Jennifer joined DWK as a law clerk. She became an associate attorney with DWK upon her graduation.
