Concentrating in the litigation and settlement of complex financial matters and custody disputes, Judd Fineberg represents individuals in all aspects of family and divorce law.
Judd makes it a priority to apply a personal touch to his cases and has significant experience in all aspects of domestic relations litigation, including conducting numerous hearings and trials, legal writing and research, depositions, appeals, paternity, mediation, arbitration, discovery of assets, and enforcement matters.
Judd regularly counsels clients on the preparation and negotiation of parenting, settlement, and prenuptial agreements; valuation and distribution of assets, contempt and enforcement of judgements, and child custody matters. Judd has successfully litigated cases to conclusion in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties involving privately-held businesses, complex estates and trusts, executive compensation plans and high-conflict custody matters.
Judd received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and won the award for Best Overall, 2008 Summer Candidacy Competition. While attending law school, he clerked for a boutique family law firm in Chicago conducting legal research, preparing legal memorandums and drafting agreements and pleadings. Judd also holds an M.B.A., with a concentration in finance and managerial economics, from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
