On February 28, 2024, Aster Gilbert, of the Center on Halsted, gave a presentation to DWK employees concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion. DWK Partner Theresa Lechner arranged the presentation in collaboration with Gilbert. The Center is the Midwest’s most comprehensive facility dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of the LGBTQ community. Gilbert is the Manager of Training and Public Education at the Center. The Center offers presentations and workshops on LGBTQ related topics, including workplace inclusion, domestic violence, and support of LGBTQ youth. The presentation analyzed allyship in the context of our judicial system.
