Judd Z. Fineberg and Marvin A. Mendez of Dussias Wittenberg Koenigsberger LLP presented at the Chicago-Kent College of Law on “Business Valuations: Understanding, Deciphering and Examining Business Valuations”. The course on Business Valuations provided an explanation on the importance of business valuations in family law cases, how to analyze and cross-examine expert witness reports, an overview of the current case-law relating to business valuations and the various methods of business valuation. Judd and Marvin taught law students and shared their thoughts on the current status of the law, and how the process of discovery is an essential tool for representing and advising family law clients concerning proper business valuations.
